A little bit of spice to flavor the pot.
I've never really gone camping or otherwise gone out into the great outdoors. The only time that barely comes close is one time I went on a church Core trip. It wasn't even my regular church but it was the only one that fit with our schedule. They had some group stuff that was not overall bad. But it can be intimidating sometimes being part of a group who know each other when you don't know many yourself. It was a little teeny bit scary being away from home. Even it was just for a few days.

I especially can remember when this girl Jennifer dressed up as big foot to scare everybody. That was memorable. I'm glad to say I went and got a bit closer to my spirituality. There's not too much I can say for the outdoors other than I really don't see myself as ever being the outdoors type. But I applaud people who are. I just can't say that will ever be me.

20 more days... we are heading to Grant Village today on a very outdated school bus since it is over 24 miles. We will be setting up our campsite again, getting our gear unloaded because the bus is leaving us here. We will be here until Tuesday morning when we hike to Lake Village and Bridge Bay campsite and then we will hike to Canyon Village on Wednesday. So all my junk foodies you will be burning those calories.

No one told me we were going hiking over all creation. I don't have nearly enough of proper footwear. Momma didn't tell me anything like that when she signed me up for this. This is totally unacceptable. I am besides myself. Not only does this whole thing seem like out of some wacked nightmare, I am not dressed properly to deal with this kind of crisis.

Was that....? That can't be right. Let me see- oh, crap! I just twisted my ankle in a gofer hole. Some lights flash by on the side of the road that look vaguely like the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo. But that can't be. After all, that's only a cartoon. Bright line shines directly over me now... Holy... Man what's a girl have to do to catch a break in this town? Bad enough I'm seeing things, but then getting clobbered like that? I need some aspirin. Just as a start. If I can even make it back to camp now. My leg's going to be shot by the time I drag myself all the way down there again. UGH! What a night. Things can't get much worse than they have been so far? Right? Right?

I remember a while ago, when my daycare went to Cold Springs. That seems years a go now. I still don't know how to swim. But at least they gave you floaties. I am still fond of them today for obvious reasons. I want to say unless I'm misremembering that there was an eel spotting. That was a little freaky, especially since a lot of us were young. I know at one point I was drifting off on my floatie and I was getting further and further from the group and it started freaking me out. I didn't want to get separated. There was a log or something, least I hope it was floating not to far from me. I took it for a gator and kicked my way back towards the group. I didn't want to die. Part of me still thinks there was a good chance it might have been.

I went with Gayle-Taylor Gayle Rutherford album-'A study of human experience'. She's an American singer-songwriter from Dallas,Texas. She's only 17.

I fell in love wirh her song ''abcdefu" (she released rhat song just last year after signing with Atlantic Records), charted worldwide including reaching #1 in the UK and Ireland. I think the song mentioned above what started me on this journey. I listened to the songs on at least one album of hers and overall a pretty good album from what I can tell.

Some fun facts about Gayle:

1). dumbass was Gayle's 1st major breakthrough, but she didn't slow down, with a string of powerful tracks that followed it.

2). Gayle arrived in Nashville at just 10 and started to play music in bars and get her voice heard, doing 90 gigs in just 6 months.

3). Met her mentor Kara DioGuardi when she was 14, and she learned how to take writing to another level by being truly vulnerable and honest.

4). Got into singing at 7 after she discovered jazz vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald in school.

5). Wrote "abcdefu" as a way to stand up for herself and refusal to compromise her own needs.

I just looked this guy up to see who he is & some domestic abuse charge came up. He may be good looking & have a higher voice than expected but he obviously needs to be working on his personal life a bit more. He looks like he could be an athlete, from that brief glimpse of what I saw he definitely seems to be going in that direction those at the NFL seem to be in.

Just as I found this & thought it may have potential.

Well gang, it's been fun. It's sad to think our traveling has reached an end. I hope everyone had a blast and hope to see a lot of you next time. Take care everybody!

Well after recovering from yesterday's festivities, it appears we may be indulging in some exercise today. The tail end of our musical tour now finds us in the Bahamas. The things we've seen, the places we've been. It's really cool to be in the Bahamas nearing the end of our tour. Rather sad, but kind of puts{me at least}in rather a fond mood. We'll be on a walking tour of the Bahamas and learning it's history and taking in what they have to offer. I never turn down food samples when offered. So much to take in and so little time left to do it.

Looks like we end things on a cruise. I can totally dig that. I'm sure I'll be off in the pool they undoubtedly have stowed away somewhere. But to answer the questions, I guess I'd say the band that did ''Payphone'' would have to be up there somewhere. I don't really feel like trying to go back and try and figure that out.

As for the other, I didn't know a lot of the music. The rap music wasn't my favorite but I can't say I hated anyone out right. So there you have it. If you need me further, I'll be searching for a croissant.

It looks like we'll be revisiting a previous stop. We're taking another go around at a bird sanctuary. Seems appropriate. Nature can have positive effects on one's psyche so going outside can be healthy now and again. Especially how as much we do it. So many birds doing their thing. I kept an eye out for duck friends. I think a saw a crane at some point. All in all, it was a quite a relaxing part of our trip.

I don't really know or care for our current music contribution. It seems sad that it's nearly over already. Where did the summer go? It will be forever before we can do this again. I know I'm not looking forward to doing all that laundry i may have been ignoring up to now. The magical faries went on strike so now i have to do it.

Today it looks like we'll be crashing once again at Lyn's for her b-day! Happy b-day Lyn! I hope it was everything you wanted. I know it's great to touch up friends you haven't seen in a while and see how everyone is. This time we went to see Melissa Ethridge on our tour/Lyn's b-day stop so that was cool. Got to party and listen to some music by Ms. Etheridge.

We are continuing touring Seattle with Ed Sheeran. I don't think I'm as familiar with his songs but I've heard he has a nice voice so I'm hoping. Plus all the natural beauty on sight just adds to the mood of our musical tour.

Mt. Rainier is quite the sight. The mountains are lovely and you have to take a moment to soak it all in.It really is some of nature's best on display out here. There' a lot of natural beauty you just have to see to be able to fully appreciate it. By the time we get our appreciation done we'll be ready to take on Ed Sheeran & maybe get something to eat.
