Candent

A caress of air that touches your skin
fanning love’s embers as you feel my lips.
You lay in my arms as flames flicker within.

My mouth traces a trail from neck to hips
as passion’s promises whirl in your mind

Excitement grows as senses are combined.
Touch, taste, and sound coalesce into one
as passion’s promises whirl in your mind.

The journey to pleasure has just begun.
As the need for surrender takes control,
touch, taste, and sound coalesce into one.

Orgasmic pleasure that touches the soul
flows over your body in welcome relief

Bodies entwined, we share in love’s belief.

Form: Terzanelle is a great way to drive a theme home. The refrains allow you to repeat those really powerful lines. There is no meter or syllable count dedicated to this form, but each line should be of similar length or metrical count.
