We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies. - Martin Luther King Jr

Dreams of You

I know you bond with those who are much more rich than me.
Those with that flash of cash that does not follow me.
I tell you that my insight and my wisdom do hold a price.

My values, and integrity, are both keenly sought by others voice.
The den of kindness crafted here does not flash with cash.
But does flash that of love; tenderness the craft.

You danced once more through my dreams,
Your beauty frame, and hair of silk; your masterpiece of flesh.
I gently touched your soft skin, and felt your beauty breath.

You opened your arms to me with your sparkle that none could emulate.
In that dream you brought me back to life.
Made me feel there may be moments when you have thoughts,

Should I dare, dreams of me by you?

Simplicities Gears

I don't see how you think it could be,
Something that wasn't quite fair.

I don't know how I'd wish it was
Holding your hand in raw fear.

Dawns morning light makes it all seam just right,
The warmth of the sun glows in you there.

Passion for you makes me live a life true
To bare who I am in fault there.

Stalking the sight of a world that's not right
Makes the vision of my hallowed life clear.

None I had known or had dreamed of in toe,
Could capture simplicity's gears.

Folks waving their wand, makes the season ring fond
Because the beauty of life you do share.

Brilliant the sight is the might of your light
Dries those sad tears quickly there.

Tender your voice caged bitter no choice
Still rings out a message of care.

Your wondrous words bring a calmness to earth,
When the scared little children did dare.

Calling Love

I know where love can be,
And what love can do.
I have seen the might of it,
Its power used.
To hold an angel's heart
Soft in gentle kindness.
Love's ember stokes the breath,
Deep longing desire.
In thought of that ember
Glowing in my heart for you.
Seen passion's play on bended knee.
The red blood my love
For my life I shed so gleefully.
Even in the darkness
When refrain is lost.
Always tuned thoughts
Your beauty, smile, and body
Only owned evermore by you.
Stoked in my heart's ember.
A flame once past burned in rage,
Dwindled to golden hot crackling flame.
Where a simple thought of your embrace
Echos love's caring face.
Even tears of yesterday
Where stoked by sadness.
Only a heart can claim
I am the one who lost in love.
I should always have know the cost;
You the love.

Quickly

Many days have quickly gone;
Life I once knew was mine, once strong.
Yet, set sun's many days ruled rage,
Sad tears flowed forth dawns day.
To wish life's dream could once be seen,
Absent minded weeping sorrow.
Lived through love,
Died through fear,
Gone to ones wished near.
Cascading tears of hope flowed there.
Love etched depths of kindness clear.
Touched by beauty never seen -
A dream of love brought forth in rapture.
Staged in wanton faith filled awe,
Passions grace held strong in song;
Mentor words were frolick.
Holding hands in warmth,
Flesh squeezed tight together,
Bound for all to relish.
Be free now to what was felt years before,
All can easily count that simple score.
Where memories flush red the face of time,
With the blush of love longed for.
Those who's truth is dark,
Glimmered darkness rushes
The stitch of light bound forth.
Love's sight conquered fright filled hearts
- passage brazenly endured.

Truth, love, compassion, and care, are the words that echo in the walls of each of our hearts. Some weep because they see the sad reality of suffering, and of hunger. Some cry out to the world in hope of correcting the injustices that plague human kind. Those souls are what beauty looks like! Those souls are what the human heart can summon when seeking care for those who need compassion.
I have been given that seed of hope growing in my heart to share with you.

Deep kiss of words to touch one's face, where shame, and fright, summon to all grace.
Love long lost to faded thought that flourished when simple mind memories beg to be heard.
Angelic tears fall to show kind apology to mesh with all

In the stars of night I could see the dawn will be,
In sparkling brilliance set clear to sight, warmth of love refrained.
I held my son close in my arms love oozed from me to him.
Felt his breath touch my skin, his warm hands upon my face.

Cleary

A stale absent dryness raced through my head
when I heard those words my nineteen year old big brother was dead.
At the same time as the words echoed so loud to me,
Tears rushed from my eyes thinking why should that so coldly be.
Here I was fourteen, not much more than a kid,
My wet face shaking, my big brother was dead, no more life to give.
Anger raged in unfairness, the riddle,
In wonder why my strong cool brother was gone now from his life.
As I walked to school with the book bundle resting on my hip,
My father pulled up beside me in the car and said,
"You don't need to go to school today, your brother is dead."
Having come from the hospital where Cleary died, then dead.
Quick as he had pulled up to me, then just as fast he'd gone,
Left standing there on that bright morning my head thick in a fog.
The pale fogy dust-bowl stuck into my head forced the faucet of tears to open
That could not be stopped no matter what I did.
Walking home and up the flight of stairs,
Cold silence was wary, dripping with sadness infused in us still living there.

To Touch

As I lay and wonder why,
I feel tears drop from your eyes,
Falling so slowly from your cheeks,
Kissing my face, touching love complete.
Lost in a moment that can never end;
In silence I am not afraid.
These tears have seen anguish I beg none will see.
As I rest, eyes closed,
The light of darkness where anger with wrath can not intrude.
Dreams unfold of the suns warmth cascading upon you,
Replayed in that moment,
Your tender touch in restful ease
Forever touched with grace I had never seen.
It was a jump for me it wasn't a fall,
A long way down to hold tenderness -
Touch all.
