** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **

This treatise is the result of a visit to church 1-18-09, and a song that became the root for the acrostic Worthy Is The Lamb, on 1-19-09 the second acrostic was gelled into the first.

Yesterday it was all about Blech.
Today it's about what the heck.
I found a review in my email of a poem I wrote.
Featured in Poetry Newsletter 12-24-14.
It's about a storm that was brewing even as I was writing and publishing it.
Thankful for the exposure!
Thankful for the opportunity to add to the list of featured venues.
Grateful for the WdC.
What the heck!
It's all about thanksgiving and gratefulness today.

Sitting here at the computer screen.
Looking for a launching point to pop up.
Ah shucks! Too tired to do much.
Have a blessed Monday, the last one of 2014.

Its Christmas eve.
My name is Steve.
Went to Cracker Barrell,
They had apparel.

Breakfast was good,
Service was not so much.
Our annual tradition food.
Now there's extra to munch.

Extra coffee and Rhondas happy
Energy to start baking, yummy.
Molasses you know its sappy,
But hey its good in the tummy.

Night night in the day day.
Peace and grace to one and all.
Tomorrow its Jesus' birthday,
And our 27th anniversary

The year is almost over,

The 2014 calendar we can cover.

Christmas time is oh so near,

In nine days in will be here.

On that day in nineteen-hundred and eighty-seven,

The Copes as you know us were born, on a cold rainy day.

Th3 pastor threw rice down Rhonda's blouse,

The photographer was our choir director and wrestling fan too.

Patsy W, sure knew her way around the leading of song,

And another of her gifts was the camera lens so long.

Memories of Rhonda singing a solo throughout Six Flags,

As we did a Christmas cantata at the fountains.

The six flags waving in the air,

Smell of food galore tickling the nose hairs.

Watching the puppetry of Scrooge,

Making people laugh, cry, and other things too.

Rhonda looking so beautiful then and now even more so.

Her sense of fashion, style, comportment, and laughter. Ho, ho, ho!

A time in my life when I felt so out of sorts,

Came into focus with the church, Rhonda, and the wrestling sport.

Rhonda's favorite wrestler; Chris Adams; hanging out after matches at the Sportatorium,

Congratulating us on our engagement night, so many years ago. Another memory of glee!

Christmas time often bringing smiles and feelings of glee,

Families opening the presents around the Christmas tree.

Down the road one hears the screams of a domestic spat,

Christmas time marred by those at odds and out of peace, so sad.

Upon the laps of so many Santa's helpers the kids have sat.

Even I have memories of such a time as that.

Another memory that is a real dream come true.

The SXSW event in which I saw my star Amanda Marsh,

With Rhonda at my side and a Sixth Street tableau.

Even with being kinda out of it with hyperglycemia, it was a highlight of my life I'm grateful came to life.

Today I want for Christmas world peace.

It's may sound like a corny and impossible plea.

But with God all things are possible, don't you see?

And for that reason this poetry corner closes with wishes of world, national, state, city, and domestic peace.

poetry Corner on 12-2-14,
Let's see what kind of scene.
Here on the days off,
The reviewing bug I did feed.

The reviews given just ticked off,
And I was blessed by the Haiku deeds.
Ate some pie, of the apple kind.
It's taste is still on my mind.

A crispy and wispy taste,
Apple crunch and crust like paste.
Craved some fruit earlier,
The fruit salad was a quick devour.

Saved some for the lady dear,
Cause her gift is cooking so real.
She also does Tie-Dye, with such cheer..
Each unique and the real deal.

Rhonda is her name, as I'm sure you know.
So many acrostics my love to her I show.
A surprise anniversary gift will blow her away.
What is it? I'm not going to say!

That has to wait until our twenty-seventh anniversary day,
On the day we celebrated Jesus birthday.
Where presents seem to have taken over the theme,
In our hearts we know the reason for the season came to redeem.

So when you get a bug in your bonnet,
And you just feel like writing a sonnet.
Come to poetry corner and lay some lines.
From the heart; or an awesome inspiration; and everything will be fine.

"The Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit shall teach you all things." John 14:26

Lord, it is my desire to learn something every day. To learn something from Your presence or guidance is a blessing I have felt on many occasions. It convinces me that I am not alone. That there is hope in the darkest of times.

Help us, Dear Lord, to learn and study all that you teach. Amen

This is the prayer on the other side o my Daily Bread scripture verse. .The verses are literally in a box that can be opened, closed, and is transparent. Every day I open this Daily Bread and pull out the next one in line; I know that I have the opportunity to learn something from His Word.

I want you to understand beloved that the Word of God is alive. The power to rebuke, encourage; and even to teach you something you did not know before; is found within the pages of the Bible.
I encourage you to make yourself open to the teaching of the Lord. Know that the Lord will honor mankind's desire to know Him, or more about the mysteries that flutter from day to day into our lives.

Your learning opportunity could very well lead you to a point of peace that surpasses all understanding.
You are important to God; your loved ones; and Copenator out! BA, M Div
