This treatise is the result of a visit to church 1-18-09, and a song that became the root for the acrostic Worthy Is The Lamb, on 1-19-09 the second acrostic was gelled into the first.

Prompt: Write about forgiveness why it is important to you.

Forgiveness is vital.
Oh the release is literal.
Remembering o'er and o'er
Grievous acts weighs the heart and mind down.
Important to forgive and ask for forgiveness?
Very much so.
Every day we do "big pieces of stupid."
Not realizing, at times, the impact we are having on others.
Ego gets in the way and we think we are in the right.
Surely he/she had to be set on the right track. Right?
Simple communication is turned into a weapon of mass chaos.

FORGIVENESS is now, and forever shall be, the one thing we all need. Our conscience will eventually work on us and the "light will come on." Those who ignore this call will wind up un-forgiven. Unable even to forgive themselves for what may have seemed a big deal at the time the "grievous act" was committed.

Those who follow the "call" of our conscience and seeks out the other whom we have wronged, will experience within their heart and mind a release of calm and peace that surpasses all understanding.

You've forgiven yourself, and taken a step to heal a fractured relationship in the process. Whether he/she chooses to forgive you is up to them. You have to be prepared to live with the consequences of your previous actions.
If that means you will have to move on without that friendship you had, then you must do so with a clear conscience knowing you have done the right thing.

Jesus is our example of forgiveness. When He was hung upon that cross, He looked out into the crowd and in a loud voice said. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." I'd like the believe the centurion guard who said "truly this was the Son of God", received that forgiveness and released of the acts he committed against the person of Jesus. That spark of sensing your wrong acts, and accepting the forgiveness extended is key. Nay I say vital and he/she who learns the lesson of forgiveness once will be equipped anew with the conscience we are all given in the beginning of our lives.

Have I offended any of you with this blog? Forgive me, as I forgive those who respond in negative spiteful comments or reviews.

You wake up and everyone in your family is gone. There's a post it on the kitchen counter. What does it say?

"Gone fishing!"
Oh the fun I'm, missing.
Near the natural elements.
Earning your keep is a drag.

Fishing for the salvation of our fellow man.
In the guiding influence of the Lord.
Seeking the one in whom the seed has been planted.
How will I ever do this?
"It's not you who will do it, but I who will draw them nigh.
Nearer to My throne draw and follow my leading.
Go into the highways and byways, for soon the harvest will be ready.

"Gone Fishing."

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
He who believes in Him is not judged, he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-19.
Gone Fishing! Would you like to come along?

Prompt: Write a bad poem.

Bad poetry day?
Ah, still like them anyway.
Dearly beloved, good or bad,

Poetry releases the soul.
Oh so many ways to go.
Etching the pages with wordy images.
Teasing the senses and emotional road signs.
Refreshing ones faith in humanity.
Yes even rhyming and un-rhyming lines make sense.

BAD POETRY? Could be. But from the heart of the author, there could well be a treasure or two left to find.

You are on a long flight when you reach into the pocket of the seat, you discover a handwritten note that clearly was addressed to you, but how? And what does it say?

Rhonda obviously wrote it. She knows where I am all the time.
"Love you. Come home safely." To which I reply "yeppers"!
