| Why is it i only blog in the early morning? And only once a day? Is this the case with anyone else? It's not like nothing ever happens after 7 am. Maybe it would be an even better stress reliever than it already is if I blogged more. This is one of those days where blogging might just save someones feelings. I'm in a strange mood and dont know weather i wanna bitch slap someone or buy'em a beer. I guess that will be determined by the first few folks i meet this morning. Boy, a good cup of coffee is starting to thaw the ice in my veins. Cant believe it snowwed again last night. Oh well. When the shit gets tough, the tough kick shit in the ass. Time to start kickin. | Well! Once again problems, assholes, and unnecessary bullshit have raised they're ugly heads to get in my way. Fuck'em! The people i'm buying my house from neglected to pay the 2010 taxes, and now the house is in foreclosure, and they have 7 days to kick us out so that they can have first crack at buying it back instead of who is living there. We dont think they will pay the amount it takes to kick us out just to lose the house on the first anyway, but you never know, so we are on guard looking for the balifs to show up. Fuck it, i'm still gonna WRITE! |
| Ok, i re-start my workouts in April at a brand new LA Fitness gym opening up that month a few blocks from me. I want to lose the beer gut and tone up some muscles that need toning. By doing this, i hope to get my wife into the fitness thing too. We need to be around for alot longer than our current physical state will allow us to be, because we have kids and grand kids that will need us. That's one goal for this year. Another is finish this book. Those are the goals i have set for myself (and my wife) for this year. CHARGE! HOLLA AT YA BOY! |
| I cant believe it. More snow! We are used to rough winters here in Michigan, but this one is pushing it! Any more snow, and i may have to put a hit out on old man Winter! | Motivation. I need it. I know what i must do, but it seems like life is determined to stop me. I must finish this book, this year. Not too worried about getting it published, i think that will happen one way or another, but i must finish it first.It's been in my head for years, and the story keeps growing. Maybe some of you out there will see what i mean. In my portfolio you can find three titles: Hell in ypsi parts one thru three. Now these are old rough drafts and have been re-written, edited, and i also am a lot further on in the story than just what's here,but it still follows the story closely. I basically posted them here to get a feel on what folks think about it.If a few of you would check them out, even if you only read the first one, and let me know what you think, the motivational push would really kickstart me. | Wow! No comments or questions from yesterday huh? Ok, on to the next one! I am working hard at kicking my ass into gear to finish this book i am working on, the one i've been working on forever. I have heard that writing it down is kind of like claiming it, so i'm gonna say now that i will finish this book by Halloween. Whew! Had to get that off my chest. O well, back to the grind! |
| As promised, here is a little back ground on Don. I am 47 years old, born in Detroit Michigan, where i now live. I am an ex navy man, an ex gang-banger, and an ex dope dealer and all around criminal. I believe i would have stayed on that path had i not met my wife, Oleatha (She prefers to be called Lisa). We fell in love, got married, and the kids started rolling out. Family life made me give up the criminal thing and get a job. Hell, this raising a family thing makes selling dope look like a summer job in a hospital as a candy striper. This Year in September we will celebrate out 18th wedding anniversary, though we have been together for 21years. Boy, can i tell you, we have stories to tell about just getting from one day to the next that deserve a book! We have eight children, three grand children, numerous god-children, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a Labrador Retriever named Honey. Our children are : Jackie , 25 and she gives us twin grandchildren, Destiny and Devon. Mechelle 21 who gives us one grandchild, Ethan. Tre' 19, Destanni (pronounced Destiny)16, DJ 14, Diamond 12, Andre 7, And the Queen of the World, Dawn, 3. Oh and the dog is about five and just had her third litter of puppies, which we are selling off as fast as possible. I am currently working as a Lab Technician at BASF, the chemical company. Great place to work, great people to work with.Big change from where i worked when i started this blog. So that's the overview of my life , just to bring you up to speed in a quick fashion.
