| They think that we're fighters, that we're warriors, that we're Marines; the ultimate badasses of the Navy. They think we charge into the field without a second thought, but there are so many thoughts going through your head when charging into direct gunfire to go save your fallen Marine, the instincts try to take over and tell you to go the other way, but the training tells you to keep going in. I will take you through the rough and easy times of a Naval Hospital Corpsman, telling the life that everyone knows and telling the work that everyone ignores. This is a story that's fictional with some areas of my experience tied in with it as you follow my story from the hospital setting to the battle field.
