In the dead of night, a plague stalks the land. An ethereal plague of beings that know only hunger, the sceadwraiths. Since their emergence seventy years ago they have destroyed nearly every human kingdom. Those in their path are consumed, souls ripped from their bodies and twisted, coalescing into yet more wraith, further bolstering the dark horde’s numbers. With no physical form, the wraiths cannot be fought by blades, nor held back by walls, leaving those in their path the choice to either flee or die. But now only one human kingdom remains, pressed back against the open ocean and humanity’s time is running out. Soon there will be nowhere left to run.
