Dream Catchers An ancient Chippewa tradition The dream net has been made For many generations Where spirit dreams have played. Hung above the cradle board, Or in the lodge up high, The dream net catches bad dreams, While the good dreams slip on by. Bad dreams become entangled Among the sinew thread. Good dreams slip through the center hole, While you dream upon your bed. This is an ancient legend, Since dreams will never cease, Hang this dream net above your bed, Dream on, an be at peace. |
Well, today has been one of those days. You know the kind, the kind that not much of anything comes to mind but sleep. The Spring-Summer-Winter, Winter-Spring-Summer days are taking it's toll. Friday was beautiful, rained Saturday, and last night we had thunder, lightening and rain. Cloudy today, so I expect more rain tonight. I had hoped to go outside (I love the Sun) to read and study more for my outline—but that didn't happen. Instead, I worked on some of it inside. I am hoping the weather and my mood improves tomorrow.
