Dream Catchers

An ancient Chippewa tradition
The dream net has been made
For many generations
Where spirit dreams have played.

Hung above the cradle board,
Or in the lodge up high,
The dream net catches bad dreams,
While the good dreams slip on by.

Bad dreams become entangled
Among the sinew thread.
Good dreams slip through the center hole,
While you dream upon your bed.

This is an ancient legend,
Since dreams will never cease,
Hang this dream net above your bed,
Dream on, an be at peace.

Character arc. That sounded familiar. I clicked on this link without even reading whose blog I'm reading.

I am getting bored of Netflix and Viki. I think I've watched all the good shows now... now my new binge - Kindle Unlimited... and of course, work and writing!

I agree. Sometimes, though, my characters refuse to say anything to me. That's how I know something is wrong - seriously wrong. But sometimes, when things are OK, they start speaking to me and I can hear it.

We had purring friends. The first one we got, Popi, a black and white tomcat, let me scratch his belly. He wasn't any lap cat, but he let me scratch his belly. Popi had a stray cat's background. He was born outside, but he became a good pet.
