Dream Catchers An ancient Chippewa tradition The dream net has been made For many generations Where spirit dreams have played. Hung above the cradle board, Or in the lodge up high, The dream net catches bad dreams, While the good dreams slip on by. Bad dreams become entangled Among the sinew thread. Good dreams slip through the center hole, While you dream upon your bed. This is an ancient legend, Since dreams will never cease, Hang this dream net above your bed, Dream on, an be at peace. |
Hi people, I know I have very scarce over the past couple of years. The passing of my husband and the year following have been difficult. I have started writing again, and I find that to be very therapeutic. Well, tonight's question is: How well do I memorize things and if I have any helpful hints. Well... to be honest... I'd forget my head if it weren't attached. But, I do tend to attach important things to certain times of the year. For instance; my son's Birthday is the day before Father's Day, my daughter's birthday is Valentine's Day, My other daughter's Birthday is right after New Year's day. We won't talk about my birthday. The bills are due when they come in the mail and I get paid on the 3rd of every month. Well, I guess that covers it for me. I'm only afflicted with selective Alzheimer's at this point. |
