Dream Catchers An ancient Chippewa tradition The dream net has been made For many generations Where spirit dreams have played. Hung above the cradle board, Or in the lodge up high, The dream net catches bad dreams, While the good dreams slip on by. Bad dreams become entangled Among the sinew thread. Good dreams slip through the center hole, While you dream upon your bed. This is an ancient legend, Since dreams will never cease, Hang this dream net above your bed, Dream on, an be at peace. |
Confined within the law or soaring well above it: Which category do you fit in? It doesn't matter which side of the aisle you are on, it is the safety of us all Americans that is at stake. Not republicans or democrats. Do you think Hillary crossed the line? Do you really want her as Commander in Chief gambling with your life and the those of your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grand grandchildren? Sounds scary! |
What is your favorite way to use veggies? My Favorite Subject! WOW Lyn, you really know how to get to me. FOOD! VEGGIES I think you really have to narrow it down just a bit. It is largely depends on the veggie, how you liked it cooked and what it is going to go with. I am always trying to slip in my veggies as a "side" dish for the family BUT ME? if I didn't like just a tiny bit of meat—I would make one hell of a vegetarian. Just to name a few veggies and ways of cooking: Green beans - mixed with bacon and onions Cauliflower - deep fried Sweet Potatoes - deep fried or baked Spinach - chopped fresh in a salad or boiled Cabbage - stuffed or boiled Celery - fresh in a salad or a macaroni salad or potato salad Corn on the cob - boiled slow in milk and butter The list goes on and on. There isn't a veggie that I don't like and figure new ways of cooking it. You should taste my eggplant and my spaghetti squash with spaghetti sauce and hamburger meat - Better than pasta! Kristina |
