My work experiences are not traditional in nature
I don’t work in the traditional sense, but I do exert myself mentally and physically in my deaf ministry and caring for my two young grand children.

My Deaf Ministry
There are three counties in our territory:
1)Pasco county
    a)          Population  470,391
    b)          Square Miles  746.89
2)Hernando county
    a)          Population  173,422
    b)          Square Miles  472.54
3)Sumter County
    a)          Population    101,620
    b)          Square Miles  546.93
Traveling long distances is a regular part of our ministry. We begin our ministry around 9:30am. We frequently stop for coffee and maybe a snack before we set-out on the day’s activities.

We usually bring our lunch, so we can keep our expenditures low. Organization is a vital key in accomplishing our ministry. We make certain to pack our service bags with everything we may need during the day.

We sometimes search for the deaf in business areas and sometimes we search in residential areas. If we meet someone who wants to discuss the Bible or receive answers to their questions; we will arrange to meet with them any day or time that is convenient for them.

We have available, DVD’s of the Bible and other Bible-based DVD’s, in American Sign Language that we offer free of charge. This is in harmony with the Bible principle in Matthew 10:8.

Caring For My Grandchildren
I have two precious grandchildren; Dylan is 5 years old and Austin is 3 years old. Dylan is in kindergarten. He received an early promotion, because he showed that he was capable of doing the work at that level. Austin will be joining his brother in school, during the fall semester.

The boys are very creative and enjoy various artistic activities. Sometimes we paint or do arts and crafts projects. They like playing outdoors; we play soccer or baseball. Sometimes, they wear-out their old grandma.

I especially love to reading books, magazines or internet articles. They have incredible imaginations, so we can talk and explore many subjects.
Dylan and Austin are a gift from Jehovah.
