Daily Flash Fiction Challenge
It doesn't work anymore.

“You are kidding right?” Jean asked her in amazement.
“No, I’m not. It doesn’t work anymore. Dad will kill me.” Jeanie said as she was filled with dread. Her father would kill her once he found out it stopped working.
“We have to get a new one then.” Jean said.
“With what? Our looks? There is no way we can afford a Rolex of this quality without tapping into our inheritance and then he will find out because he has to sign for it.” Jeanie was upset. She broke her dads Rolex.
Jean suddenly started, “We could enter the competition next week for the most identical of identical twins. We are sure to win. There is nothing different about us. Even after seventeen years our Mom and Dad can’t tell us apart.”
“It is still not enough to buy a Rolex.” Jeanie said still worried.
Jean started bouncing up and down with excitement. She had an idea. “No, but it is enough to get it fixed!”
“Oh yeah, you are right. We can win up to ten thousand dollars for first prize. We need to make sure we are identical in ever y way though. Nothing including earrings can be different. I think you have a great idea Jeanie. Thank you so much. I was about to panic.”
The competition finally comes and they go sign up. The voting starts and they sit back and pray that they, at least, place in the top three places.
“I can’t believe we won. Let’s take the watch up to the Jewelers and get it fixed. I hope it doesn’t take all of our money to fix it.” Jean said.
“It won’t, but what are going to do with the rest of the money?”
“I say we buy a car!” Jeanie says.
