The Karriss Character Names:
Main Character is Zara:
She is one of the awakening intelligent members of her race and she is one of the last remaining zombies to know the secret of her people.
Body shape: She is roughly humanoid in body shape but she is part plant as well as flesh and bones.
Hair color: Her outer skin is tree bark her inner is flesh her outer coloration is Brilliant Green Hair
Eyes: has three two in her Front and one in back of the head part.
Ears: she has two long thin sharp pointed stalks that is a hard skin like appendages sticking out of her head one on each side they can move around like a cat’s or other animals and can triangulate sound very fast.
Nose: She just has air holes around her head mostly for exhaling her bark or outer skin absorbs the oxygen in and supplies it to her sap as she has no blood.
Upper torso: it is slim and has breasts like human females do but hers are covered by bark when she is not nursing young.
Arms:  they grow out of her shoulders more like tree branches then human arms they are boned and heavy muscled so they can carry heavy loads and do continuous work for long periods.
Hands:  She being female has six fingers to her hands with one being an opposing thumb.
Lower torso: looks like a female human but all genital area is covered with bark to keep out dirt and unwanted moisture her behind serves as waste material dump for all unwanted material her body cannot use both liquid and solid.
Legs: they are heavy muscled with a thin bark covering they have bone in them for extra strength to help support her when she gives birth.  And to help her arms when she carries heavy objects with her hands and arms.
Feet: She pretty much has a human foot with two exceptions she can grow roots out of them for feeding any time she wants. And she can shed the bark covering on them like socks or put them back on.  She can re-grow a new pair if the old ones start shedding bark pieces.

Zara is weapon trained she can use any sword, axe, hammer, spear, rifle, plasma gun, is trained as a hyper jump ships weapons officer and can fire any ships weapons with extreme accuracy.  For hand to hand combat she prefers two handed swords over guns as you have to always reload them.  Her secret is she knows where the non zombie people are stored at in status fields.  The problem is she is a zombie now and craves the brains of her people.

Commander Zaecoff: Zara’s commanding officer is older than Zara a little bit bigger, has brilliant red hair. He died and the trainers cloned him with all his memories to sergeant Jackman.
Zara’s Group she commands:
Heavy Gunner Geoff he is second in command and is left gunner.
Heavy Gunner Gina she is right gunner and third in command.
Ammo Carrier Herald he is fourth in command and can take over firing the heavy guns if any of the heavy gunners are disabled. He is very good at hand to hand as well as long distance firing of the light rifles he is required to carry.
Ammo Carrier Jessop he is fifth in command and can take over firing the heavy guns if any of the heavy gunners are disabled. He is very good at hand to hand as well as long distance firing of the light rifles he is required to carry.
Zara’s Lab Crew:
John = First lab tech he was one of the first to speak with Zara when she made it back to the city.
Kent = second lab tech he was the one carrying the white flag
Jessie = lab first class researcher, the leader of the three

Karriss Home World Zombies:
Trent = The Garden City semi-turned zombie leader the first Garden City behemoth.
William = the Mayor of Home City and the last politician left on the planet.
Ginath = Mayor William’s mate and new planetary advisor.

“Fish” Ships:
Lena= Hyper Jump Ship that was Commander Zaecoff’s ship that Zara assumed command of.
Valerie = Lena’s second in command a Fleet Captain.
Helen = Fleet Sergeant was hijacked by enemy no one knows how long.
Jenkins = the space station He is under Lena’s command as well as the Empire.
Thomas = Imperial Fleet deployment computer
Ancient Computers:
Malloric = Zara’s Behemoth Trainer holds the first key
Jordan = Malloric’ enemy that Zara befriends and is able to end the ancient feud. Holds the second key
Kirk = damaged life support computer for all the ancient Karriss. He is buried deep underground and is the last war machine computer is not connected to behemoth training but holds the eighth key of behemoth training.
Ashley = Damaged Hidden moon base Commander. Also was once one of the three behemoth trainers holds the third key
Kerry = the main records and hospital support staff for Garden City.  He is also the main government record storage vault. He is also one of the remaining behemoth war machine trainers holds the fourth key
Simon = third behemoth war machine stationed next to the third chemical dump.  He is badly damaged and needs repair. He holds the fifth key
Richard = the fourth behemoth trainer war machine is badly damaged from the war with Simon he is just barely hanging on he is guarding a forth hidden chemical dump that cannot be entered if the world wants to remain alive.  The chemicals stored in it will react with the zombie trigger and cause the atmosphere to burn. He holds the sixth key
Thomas = the working moon base behemoth trainer war machine holds the seventh key.
Jeves = Floating planetary battle station.
Mike = one of the ones before or Atlantians built computers he builds world gates.
Curator = Atlantians built museum and mind training center.
Karriss Home world cities:
Home City = capitol city of the planet and close to the first chemical dump site (Malloric)
Garden City = second chemical dump site (Kerry)
Great Falls = third chemical dump site (Simon)
Rockland = entrance to the main underground cavern (Richard)

Blue ships leader = Lawrence



In starting the zombie story line is they are my second book I was able to knock out the first 7 chapters fairly easy it is the next 31 chapters that I’m procrastinating on so far. I was able to come up with part of the time line

Zombie Time Line:
1). How Zara became a zombie
2). Zara as a zombie
3). Zara wakes and starts being a person but she still is a zombie or so she thinks.
4). Zara’s quest to be a person again as well as help other zombies awaken to people.
5). the rescue of home city
6). the cleaning out and awakening of the city zombies!
7). the great zombie hunt
8). Hunting predators
9). The Cleanup Crew
  A). John arrives at the flyer port as soon as they start the cleanup they get ambushed.
  B). They fight their way to a locked up hanger they break in only to release a few hundred Karriss stored in there.
  C). his crew fight their way to the air control tower to make their last stand there when all the semi-turned zombies show up and kill off all the predators and the aliens controlling them.
  D). John starts turning them into cleanup crew replacements to finish his job assignment.
  E). they all watch Shorty’s funeral and call up Zara telling her to come get the government records    stored here.

20.  A Gift from Lena (Lena finds Zara’s old combat team and assigns them to her as security detail)
21.  A Command Decision (They decide to save Zaecoff and find Kirk and the eighth and final key)
22. We are Taking the Cool Route We are Going Underground (The fight to get to Garden city through the cavern)
23. Once upon a Volcano (The taking of the Garden City Chemical Dump and wiping out the enemy)
24. Midnight at the Ruins (The discovery of how the ones before open and lock doors
25.  Mike (Zara finds and activates the ones before master computer and gets help taking out the second base and every alien on the planet mike was power hungry)
26. Jessie and Minds of Great Power (Zara saves Jessie and fixes her ability to have children)
27. Space Rescue with Minds of Great Power (they test out the new training from Zara)
28.  Ships Ahoy the finding of the naval ship yards and mining operation.
29.  Things that are Broken: the trip out to the neighbor solar system they were too late it was a Zara trap.
30. The Big Boys: were found and enlisted to help Zara on her last stand.
31. The Slow the Fast and the Dead: finding the enemy isn’t always the enemy.

Commander Bill Stotts he was the Empire’s hero one of the only people allowed two names with Commander rank.  He was replaced by an enemy. No one really knows what really happened to him.

"Karris." This is my name for my star. As it is the "The Karriss Home World" sun and center of their solar system.  In their language it means center.  Noticed the second spelling has two 'ss' at the end it changes the word to mean: "people of the center."
