Oceanlake School. THE school. Everyone wanted to go to this school, except ME. This school had brainwashed my parents and they were assured that by sending me there, I would have a happy and successful life. Never mind that I had plans to attend high school with my best friends, Lilly and Jake. We were going to join the Spanish club and the Photography club together and had planned on doing all of our school projects together. Those plans were done. Look at all of their alumni--granted, most of them were divorced, but they were financially stable and could give their kids all the toys that money could buy. Today was open house at Oceanlake. I dressed carefully in my new black jeans, no rips or tears, and my soft comfy nirvana shirt. Brushed hair, brushed teeth. Check and check. Ready to take on the world at Oceanlake. What kind of name is Oceanlake. The owner must have been on drugs. Its either and Ocean or a Lake. Not both. Oceanlake School was not even close to the ocean or the lake. It was located 40 miles west of the pacific, in the little town of Bethside. |
