I'll give you a starter sentence, you give me a story!

Welcome to the contest! I hope you have fun.

It's really very simple. I give you a starter sentence and you write a short story. This sentence should be the first sentence in your story.

Of course there are some rules:

The contest will run from the 12:01 AM on the 1st, Writing.Com time and will run until 11:59 PM on the 15th, Writing.Com time, each month.

Your entry can be no more than 2000 words. You must post your word count in the body of your story as well as in your entry post here.

You must bold the starter that I give you.

Your entry needs to be rated no higher than 18+.

Only 1 entry per contest.

Entry must be posted as a Bitem link.

If there are 4 or less entries, only 1st will be awarded.

I will delete any post that doesn't follow the rules, no questions asked. Please be familiar with the rules.

Now to the fun stuff!

I will send a review for each qualifying entry.

Prizes!
