This book is about the architect Daniel H. Burnham, who designed the World Fair of Chicago in 1893 and America's first recorded serial killer, Dr. H. H. Holmes. I'm about 13% of the through the book and so far the main focus has been on Burnham. I'd really like to read more about Holmes, but perhaps that is yet to come. Overall, so far, it's an interesting book I would recommend to anyone interested in that period.
