Oh yeah, I've had that book around here for a long, long time, like a faithful friend. Orson Scott Card pulls out the imps from his magical top-hat. I may be wayward but horror rings my chimes on a dark night--eek ... ting-a-ling. Don't consider it to be a tragedy, but I got these books, too: "How To Write Horror Fiction" by William F. Nolan; "How to Write Tales of Horror, Fantasy, & Science Fiction" edited by J.N. Williamson with an introduction by Robert Bloch. Contributors include: Ray Bradbury, Dean Koontz, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Colin Wilson, Ramsey Campbell, Robert McCammon, and many others.
Recently, I purchased these books about writing: "On Writing A Memoir of the Craft" by Stephen King; "Zen in the Art of Writing" by Ray Bradbury.
Now, I'll go back out on the porch and listen for the wild turkeys gobbling and woodpeckers knocking.
