I am an avid reader of the works of Stephen King and I recommend this book. First, it is the sequel to another book you might have heard of called "The Shining". Second, It takes place right after the first left off and the foreshadowing of Dan Torrence 's adult life is awesome. There are few characters you might remember and they become main characters in this suspenseful horror novel. Along with new characters that blend very well with the plot and go into new territory. No spoilers!!
