Conversations with a film director
I'd gone for the book-launch of this one, and got an autographed copy.
The author is in conversation with a film director, who directs films in various South Indian languages, especially the Tamil language.
I'm really enjoying the book. I don't understand Tamil myself, and haven't seen the films that are being discussed - but the various insights into characters, scenes, storytelling, cinematography, lighting, music, teamwork and all the varied aspects of film-making are fascinating.
