Two are Karen Armstrong's "Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life," and Patrica Hill Collins' "From Black Power to Hip Hop: Racism, Nationalism And Feminism."
I'm reading these books because I'm an academic at heart, and I miss being politically active. But, I'm home-bound due to illnesses. So, I'm considering writing a blog where I write book reviews which will also allow me to write about my particular activist, political prospective. Anyway, this is two of a stack of ten or twelve books I'm slowly reading. For whatever its worth.
