I am inspired to write a West Indian novel, so I am trying to read as much of this genre.
A teenage girl telling her story of being moved to her Aunt's house who tries to fit in with the upper-class as much as possible. The girl feels alone and hides away and longs to go back to her poor aunt's home where she was happier
