Indeed, a bug in the logging is not showing deleted item entries.

The back end of the log tells me it was deleted to your recycling bin Mon Nov 12 15:55:12 2012 and then purged from the bin about a minute later Mon Nov 12 15:56:14 2012.

Both actions are logged to someone logged into your account -- I can't say it was you because we obviously can't see through the computer screen. We only know it was your account that did it.
