You may now create a billboard for your portolio. Your custom billboard will be shown on the "Who's Online" page next to your handle. (You may set your billboard from the Change Account Text & Special Items link available in your My Account area. All content within your billboard must remain E at all times. Having a billboard at Writing.Com is a privilege, not a right.

This is what it says when talking about the Preferred author. I will look up someone with it next to their handle and copy and paste for you to see.
