There are number of combinations you can do with WritingML, including that one. There are two ways that you can do such a thing: type it out manually or use the styling buttons above a text box.
If you use the styling panel, you would need to select the text you want to change the style of, and then click the buttons that correspond to what you want. B is bold, I is italic, and the rainbow-looking one will open a new line below that with a range of color options to choose from.
If you want to do it manually, let's do bold and red, you would need to type it out like this: {b}{c:red}Bold Red Text{/c}{/b}. This would then show Bold Red Text.
