If by retrieve, you mean find the saved item --

If it actually saved, it will show in your portfolio.
If there was an unresolved error on the save, it is gone.

If by retrieve, you mean get back to the edit screen --

Once you find it in your portfolio, the Item Tools menu has an Edit Item option. Click that.
