Help a newb add photo to biography?

Hi all!
Trying to upload my picture to my biography page. Received error message several times:

We encountered the following problem(s):
Oops, we had some problems storing your update. Some changes could not be stored:

*Bullet* Maximum uploaded image size is 400.00kB. Your file is 400.00kB

My file size is like 1.58MB though.
