Greetings!

Joining a group varies slightly depending on how it's run. You will want to read the group description carefully to determine if there is a process you will need to go through in order to join. If there isn't anything explicitly noted, your best bet is to email the group's owner to find out how to join.

As for creating a group, you will want to start here: "Create/Edit a Group"  These instructions walk you through creating a group item. It also includes links to group management information.
