Since this is a site where posting your work is self-service, the use of features that contribute to search results depends on individuals choosing to take the time to use them properly. Everyone has the opportunity to specify search terms such as meter, rhyme, and specific form names in the Keywords section of their items. If you use search terms such as those in the textbox, while specifying Static items, Poetry subtype, you'll be able to locate such items where people have put such information in the Title, Brief Description, or Keywords fields. Beyond that, there are a few alternate routes that could be used. If you find someone who has written such poetry, you could check other items in their port. The members of poetry-themed groups could be a place to start. Another method could be to check contest/activity forums where poetry forms are specified as prompts, and then check the entries posted in the forums for the ones that involve meter and rhyme. Where the contest item itself no longer exists, but items written for it are still around, sometimes people will reference a contest in the Brief Description field, or use the Contest or Contest Entry (which was added later) as a genre choice. Hope that helps. Northernwrites___ ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #603504 Sharing Restricted~~ |
