You can use Access Restrictions, which range from Private (no one else can see it) to No Access Restrictions, which means everyone on the internet can see it. A free account does not include use of the site features for Passkey access or Group-Only access, although membership in someone else's group can be used for the later. These features are available at the Upgraded+ paid membership level.

The site offers content rating filters and a content rating system. Not seeing something is more controlled by the viewer than the item owner. People can set their filters to not show them higher-rated content in the site listings. The default for visitors is 18+. This doesn't prevent minors from changing their filters, but the responsibility for that supervision rests with their parents, not the site. The site also offers content rating blockers, which can be set by parents to limit what their child sees. Also, content ratings are initially set by the item owners on a honor system, which means the site does not guarantee that the actual content rating level of any item is reflected in its current content rating, but if something is noticed or reported, it will be corrected by mods+.
