Members help other members with non-technical questions and problems using Writing.Com! |
Good Afternoon, I am the owner and host of a free social writing community I created on Meetup.com and would like for Writing.com to be a platform for our group. Each member will have the option to create an account on Writing.com (by my using "refer a member"). Once they create an account, they will not only receive in person, peer support from our group as is Meetup.com purpose, they will have the chance to have a broad range of support from Writing.com members as well. I would like to set up my profile to invite others not only to view my profile (as anyone can), but as a platform so that members can share our work with each other (not set on private). This will be more convenient than doing so on our site. It will also give each member a chance to have a variety of support and motivation in building their writing skills, taking class to enhance them, while fulfilling our social site's purpose to meet in person and write together. While our community site is open to the public, I would rather share the site address with the owners or moderators of Writing.com. Meetup.com encourages each group to meet in person; so, more personal information is on our site that would not otherwise be in my portfolio. Meetup.com groups are not for business (profit or not for profit) purposes. Please let me know if I can use my portfolio as a platform to invite other writers to build their portfolio here and share their work with their peers and other writers on Writing.com with similar interests. Thank you, Carlita |
