Plug Page Help

I've never seen anybody do that in the past ten years.

Technically, it's possible the site plug pages will let you do that.
Rules-wise, there isn't an official rule about that, particularly, but there shouldn't need to be one.

Because there is the matter of why would anybody want to do that? The plug pages are open to the entire internet. If you posted the passkey and the link, anyone could view it, so there would be no point in having it Private.

So I'd still advise you not to do it.

If you want to use the site plug pages, and you restrict access to site members only, anyone who can review it can see it, and there's no need to post a passkey. Restricted to Reg Authors and up, it will be open to anyone who is likely to review (most Reg Users don't review). In the Advanced section you can add a restriction to a paid membership level if you want.


Note that Private + Passkey works fine with individual Review Requests done in individuals' Reviews tabs. There's a Notes text box where you can put the passkey. See Community/Request a Review to view a list of reviewers who accept requests and what kind of reviews they do.
