Writing.Com never processes credit cards. To use a credit card, you must use one site or the other to process the payment. As I said before, you would need to contact that site to resolve the problem with the card.

Whoever issued your card [or perhaps your bank] should be able to tell you which card processing site it was.

Your bank should be able to tell you whether the money was actually withdrawn from your bank account, or just a hold was put on it.

If you go back to the shop and check your shopping cart, the incomplete transaction might still be there. Clearing the order might clear the incomplete transaction off your card.
