Hi Ally

In the top right hand corner of your story is a little ratchet device - maybe it looks like a little flower 😀. Click on that and you will see a list of instructions. The fourth is "Word Count". Click on that, and it will tell you how many words there are in your story. If you edit your story, you can go back as many times as you need to check on the word count.
