Question on Sub-types and Genres
Is there somewhere dictionaries or glossaries that give guidance on "Sub-Types" and "Genres". I am having trouble selecting. For example:

In sub-type, what is the difference between an "Article" and a "Short Story"?; or an "Essay" and a "Monolouge"?

In Genres, what is the difference between "Teen" and "Young Adult"? Is "Comedy" the same as "Humor" (no listing for Humor)?

... and I could add: In these forums, what is the difference between "technical" and "non-technical"?

Thanks.
