The system shows you with an Upgraded membership for the next 6 months. You didn't say what length of membership you purchased.
The confirmation email sent with the purchase of a paid account directs you to log out and log in again to re-set your session to the new membership status. Did you do that? If not, please do so now and then check whether that resolves the problem of accessing the membership.
In addition, you should have gotten a GP refund notification email for the approximately 1-month remainder of the previous Basic membership. This information will also show in your Gift Point Log.
The only people who can check the details on problems with a purchase are staff, not moderators, so for that, you'll have to wait until The StoryMaster is available.
