Criteria for spam email?
by A Non-Existent User
Hi!

I received an email advertising a forum, which rarely ever happens. *Bigsmile*

If anything, I might receive an email telling me about a celebration for a mutual friend.

The problem with this email is that it is advertising a WDC forum that is selling off-site products.

I have no problem with the forum itself. Members can either participate or not.

However, unwanted solicitation of beauty products through email is not something I am cool with.

I politely told the sender this, and recommended she do this type of solicitation on the Newsfeed only.

My question is, Is this type of email considered spam?

Just wondering.   Thanks!
