I picked up Candace Camp's A Stolen Heart for a dollar at a recent book fair. Because I've read three of the four in her Matchmaker series and really liked them I thought I'd give this one a go.
There comes a point when one historic romance character blends with another and another and another, but this one was different in that the heroine was an American who'd come to England to sort out a business deal and to see some Indian artifacts/treasures. I could almost get a hint of an 'accent' in her speech but I also kept forgetting that she was American.
In any case, I'm 2/3 of the way through and am enjoying it. The plot's got a bit of mystery and while it's been unravelling and I reckon I know what's up I've just come to a part that has me puzzled, so that's great. I'm still hooked.
