Merit Badges

I know badges can be displayed as part of a signature.
- Is it cool to display a badge in the item that earned it?

I am also aware that badges should not be used as cover images.
- Can they be displayed in an item maybe titled "Things I am proud of?"

Just trying to clarify the parameters.
