I wanted to respond when I first saw this, but real life got in the way (as always). However, I do have time today! First, I’m a person of color (black American), and it doesn’t bother me if a white person writes about POC characters. On the old writing website I used to be on, this was such a controversial topic. I mean, it was so bad. Fights would break out in the threads and users would attack other users; it was nuts!
I feel like in this day and age, it doesn’t matter anymore.

The world is a sea of different people and backgrounds, and every race should be written about.
