Just what is world building? Most people think of world building being just for fantasy and science fiction writers, where most of the world is completely made up. NOT TRUE! Contemporary writers have to world build too. Don't think so? Consider this: I live in Columbus, Georgia, USA right? What if I want to write a story in Paris, France? Or Hong Kong? I'd have to do research into those places - streets, buildings, people, culture, food, language!
