I have been a member of WDC for a couple of months now and have become thoroughly addicted to contests; especially poetry contests. For the first poem I wrote, I used a very common and basic form because I didn't feel comfortable using free verse and I had no idea how many different forms there were available out there. Now I have learnt of and written over 30 different forms and I am still counting.

This contest is for you poetry lovers out there who want to experiment with different forms. Some people may find certain forms restrictive, but I see them as a challenge, more akin to a puzzle. 

Each week I will be providing a new form, starting from the letter A and making my way through the alphabet through to Z.
