Welcome to the Inquiring Minds Workshop!


Here we want to learn all kinds of new things...AND we will be hosting contests periodically throughout the year for fun! The first contest will be held for one week in December (time to be determined)...You will get to guess what the word of the day means...(you'll get hints or guesses) and then you get to write a short story or poem about that particular word!

For example:

Word of the Day

peripeteia: A sudden turn of events or an unexpected reversal.

Of course for the contest we will give you other guesses that are wrong...*Smirk2*
You will have to pick the correct one...otherwise it isn't a contest...LOL
Then based on that word, you will write a short story or poem.

For this word, ANN Counselor, Lesbian & Happy wrote the following poem:

Peripeteia in Roseburg

That moment, a sudden turn of events
changed the campus.
Shouts rang out, craziness born
as lives ended.
One shooter, increasing self-hate
focused on others,
innocents, unknown to him, his victims
massacred senselessly
without reason and conscience.
Unexpected reversal.
