What is loss? Is it loss of life that we realize before we put it in the ground of that casket a loved one or friend or family and covered in dirt and soil? What is loss, is it a leaf that crumbles and shreds to pieces before all the tears come and go shut eyes? What is loss before you realize its all dead and gone and hushed winds lays stilled? What is loss, is it something you forget to say when its all faded and wilts? What is loss, is it fears that commune and transport or is it what we have monetary earthly? What is loss, is it yet all worth it? Do you disdain also and weep in willows? What is loss before we all realize its to late and sorrow? What is loss a broken rose or broken hearts never again is to be same as used to be? What is loss was yesterdays tears, today's hearts scorned and somehow we manage a slight frown or smile beneath it all? But will it come when you yet still realize how they were there a second ago and you wake up as if it is some nightmare you'd hoped for? What is loss when its all broken and gone? What is loss mean to you just feel it so, say it. What is loss unless you let go of the feelings and cry. What is loss when you wake up and realize it was not a dream and fears worst happen and you realize you have no more. What is loss that you feel when you have placed that one last flower upon that casket and it slowly lowers into the ground, you cry more. |
