Ooooh you just have ... no idea ...
I love my mother.

This is one of those, "This new Photoshop is making an absolute mockery of my graphics card..."

Mom: "Well, what would run Photoshop but still be reasonable?"

Me: "Pro. PRO!!"

Mom: *reading online* "You're insane, son."

Me: (feigning resignation) "I guess the iMac 27" with the GeForce 1GB gpu chipset could do it..."

Mom: *reading online* "Still insane."

Me: (actual resignation) "Well, there's a 21.5" with a variant of the GeForce that might still be on sale, but that's just the new version of the early '09 model I'm already using."

Mom: *removing reading glasses* "Oh, well, then there's no need to upgrade what sounds perfectly reasonable."
