The family home of Michael Pierce, Connemara, Ireland
This is the family home of Michael Pierce, who was one of the United Irishmen in the Easter Uprising in 1921.

It was taken in September 2014 when we were on a road trip from Cobn in West Cork to Connemara.

The cottage is well over 100 years old, and is now a museum.
