Welcome to the Spiritual Newsletter. I'm Kimchi, your hostess this week.

Spring rolled in on a light wind and the sun blazed through my dirty windows, stunning me. I've been walking around in a daze for days, sniffing at the damp earth and exclaiming over each bright green leaf and tender plant like a joyous toddler. Just being outside in nature is a hymn; with each inhalation of fresh air my body is renewed, and with each exhalation I release my stress, worries, and grumpy winter attitude.
A quick breeze and a bird call take me back to childhood, to the magic of a sunrise where yellow and red tulips beckoned the faithful into a little country church. In my mind, the scene of friends coming together for fellowship glows against the background of nature. I remember looking through the stained glass windows and wishing we could all march outside and sing in harmony with God's amazing spring symphony.
When the weather warms I am intoxicated with life and flit from cleaning to writing to gardening like a drunken bee. Delicate spring days are far too seductive to ignore and way too fleeting to waste inside, even on a newsletter. That's my story and I'm stickin' with it.

spidey   - Fun newsletter! I have lucid dreams regularly, though I can usually only change a dream if it is connected with a strong emotion, like fear. The truly frightening dreams, for me, is when I can't change it! I've noticed in the past that when I try to remember my dreams (I've heard that one way to try to remember them in the morning is to tell yourself, "I will remember my dreams in the morning.), I start to have more nightmares, so I no longer actively try to remember them.

Dreams are really interesting but also can be a bit weird. I've had dreams where I'm some place where there is flooding going on. Maybe the garage of basement is flooded. I used to dream of flying, well more like floating come to think of it, although in air.
I've had those nightmare dreams, but later had the most pleasant dreams where it's peaceful, and I'm sitting outside in a lush garden and looking over a book on the table with someone else who is there. I am not sure what the book was, but wondered if it was the bible or something like that. I never seem to visualize the other people in dreams, or who is sharing the book, but I know I can trust the person and feel such a great love there. Have you ever felt so happy you thought your heart might burst?
njames51 - So inspired this day, every newsletter helps me grow whole, more formed, more humble, more near with my God.
njames51 - This may not fit, but for me it is God's daily promise that HIS creation - the moon, stars continue there manifestations...and for the old man in the poem..it is his joyful faith that what was old is never old. God never changes, nor HIS creation of the world. "As it was in the beginning, is now , and ever shall be."
