After years of infertility, my darling daughter was born on October 22, 2012!
After years of struggling with infertility, my darling daughter was born on October 22, 2012. She was born 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19 inches. She fought some serious jaundice in the first couple of weeks of her life, dropping down below 6 pounds before she normalized again. Rosalie Octavia joined this world all smiles. I have never seen such a happy child. Every day she's smiling, laughing, and enjoying life. She is truly the best thing that ever happened to us. *Heart*

10-30-2012 ~ Getting prepared for a Billirubin on Halloween Eve. She was in for her eighth blood draw, but had to get two more after this. Poor girl! She is in her piglet dress. The hat has little ears, but it's hard to see in this shot. Rosalie didn't cry, fuss, or screech. Even after countless blood draws, she was a real trooper and all smiles. *Smile*

10-26-2012 ~ Getting ready to go to Grandma's. Poor girl was at her worse with jaundice at this point. She was so tired, as if being born wasn't hard enough!

Newborn ~ One of the first pictures that captured my darling daughter. Even before she got here, she was an easy baby. Contractions didn't hurt that bad, and when it came time to push she came out, just like that. The umbilical was around her neck (loosely) but it didn't cause any problems. She was born 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and 19 inches long.
