Poem I wrote.
The Battle Ensues

Good and evil
Dark and light
Which will prevail
Only time will tell
The bullets keep flying
Through the space in between
Neither side backing down
The will to live too strong
As people drop like flies
Continuing to advance
Until finally face to face
No room for error
A shot through the eye
A stab in the back
Hundreds are dead
The toll keeps rising
Such is life
Internal battles raging
Like fire gone wild
Between everyday choices
Deciding how to live
Some choose wickedness
Others help those in need
Which side will emerge victorious
We may never know
Whether you stay and fight
Or run away and hide
Is entirely up to you
But no matter which path you take
The battle will always ensue
